The season of Lent began yesterday with Ash Wednesday, the day at the outset of our journey on which we remember that we are dust, and to dust we shall return. As a church, we will journey together during Lent in some unique ways at this time, reminding ourselves that we participate in this time of waiting and introspection not only with our minds and spirits but with our bodies as well.
